Denise Stefanie's versatility in vocals has been fostered since an early age, as she expertly sings classical music, pop, rock, jazz and R&B. Her vocal capabilities were put to the test during her first National tour when she was eleven. In the show, Selena Forever, Denise Stefanie sang Tejano music, but when she appeared in interviews, Cristina on Spanish TV, she would be asked to sing Ave Maria a capella to the audiences delight.
After the Selena Forever tour, Denise Stefanie focused on jazz. She produced her first self-titled CD, in 2001. After the CD was recorded, she sang at various large Jazz festivals to promote her work and was eventually offered a scholarship to attend the Idyllwild Art Academy.
Soon after enrollment, Denise Stefanie was offered the main role of Zoë in Cirque du Soleil's production of Quidam. Since 2002, Denise has sang in several touring and resident Cirque du Soleil shows, including Quidam, Corteo, Alegria, Joyá and most recently, Vitori (December 2019).
Denise Stefanie was chosen to be the face and voice of 7Up's new "Sevenisima" campaign. Being that the campaign was targeted toward the Hispanic market.
In addition to speaking Spanish, Denise has sung in several Native Mexican dialects for Televisa's "Estrellas Del Bicentenario" series, along side her esteemed mentor and producer, Gustavo Farias.
Denise Stefanie was honored with an invitation to participate in City of Hope's public awareness song and campaign, "La Gota de La Vida." Denise Stefanie is one of the 46 artists appearing in the song to help promote bone marrow donation amongst Latinos. Denise Stefanie's voice and likeness appears along with great artists such as Gloria Estefan, Placido Domingo, and David Bisbal to name a few.
In addition to many years of experience with Cirque du Soleil, Denise has been passionate to create her own music. Her independent albums include: A Jazz album at the age of 12, A bilingual disco funk album produced by Gustavo Farias (2010), a Spanish pop album with the band Muhu, "Dirás que Sí" (2012) and a Lullaby album, "La La Lu" (2017).
